Groundling’s Review proposes an idea for letting NBC know that we want more Journeyman:
I propose that every fan of Journeyman go to NBC.com sometime this coming Monday, December 3rd, and watch all of the full-length episodes available. I pick Monday because that’s when NBC has scheduled to show Life instead of Journeyman. Journeyman is scheduled to be back on in its regular slot on December 10th.
It definitely an interesting idea. If enough people do this for NBC to notice a spike in their logs, we might get the network’s attention.

Update: Journeyman fans at Television Without Pity are planning to buy the latest episode, Blowback, on iTunes on December 3 in an effort to get it into the weekly top 10. Thanks, AEPender!

Ain’t It Cool News is passing on a note from Kevin Falls stating that the 12th episode of Journeyman, which could serve as a finale, will air on December 19. He even mentions this very website!
The decision to air the 12th episode had a lot to do with the passion of our fans through SaveJourneyman.net, the online petition and letters and emails to NBC executives.

Update: After reading several comments and counting the episodes, it has become obvious that the episode airing December 19 will be Journeyman’s 13th episode. I’m not sure why Kevin Falls is calling it the 12th.

Premium Hollywood has a very interesting interview with Journeyman creator, Kevin Falls. He talks about the storyline and the show’s chances for renewal, among other things. You definitely get the vibe from the article that he feels that NBC doesn’t want to cancel the show. We just have to give them a good reason not to.

Here’s the ratings according to Zap2It (thank you, gret from TVIV):
At 10 p.m., “CSI: Miami” (10.2/17) easily won the hour for CBS. “October Road,” 4.4/7, finished second in households for ABC, but NBC’s “Journeyman,” 3.8/6, grabbed a few more viewers.
So basically, we can call it good news for now since any improvement in viewership is good news. But the preemption for Life (plus the lame coming attractions for the next episode) is definitely worrying. If Life lands anything above a 3.7, we may be in real trouble.

iF Magazine reports on an interview with Journeyman creator, Kevin Falls:
Due to some unusual scheduling conflicts, the twelfth (and, for this season at least, the final) episode of JOURNEYMAN may not actually air. According to series creator Kevin Falls, in his exclusive interview with iF Magazine, “I’ve been told we will air episodes 10 and 11 after a December 3rd preemption of LIFE [but that] episode 12…doesn’t have a home right now except for DVD or if we get a back nine [meaning that the series is picked up for a full season run]. But the strike will determine that.”

TV Squad reviews last night’s episode, Blowback:
(S01E10) So what, trying to get a kidnapper behind bars gets me shot? Who in the hell are we working for? - Dan Vasser
His line may as well have been, “So what, we have an interesting eight episodes capped off by an excellent ninth and tenth show, only to get hit with rumors of being canceled after this season? Who in the hell are we working for?”
That would be NBC Danny boy, and I’m none two thrilled that Journeyman probably won’t be showing up on the schedule when spring rolls around.

Welcome to the new blog dedicated to saving 2007’s best new television drama, NBC’s Journeyman.
We envision a campaign similar to the one waged for Jericho last spring. We need to think of something like the nuts used for Jericho to send to NBC to show support. Post your ideas in the comments.
