Today is the day that Journeyman fans on Hey! Nielsen are gearing up and setting their sights on #1. Head over to the Journeyman page on Hey! Nielsen. Help Journeyman get to #1 on Monday by posting there.

It’s Monday again, and it’s Week 4 of our streaming event. Stream the fourth episode of Journeyman, “The Year of the Rabbit,” tonight at 10 PM EST, Journeyman’s regular time-slot, at NBC.com. Look for “Episode 104 - The Year of the Rabbit.” If you can’t make it at 10 PM, then stream at another time today. For complete streaming details go here. Be sure to click on the ads while you stream, and post advertiser contact info in this thread so we can let the advertisers know we watched.

It’s the same plan as previous weeks. It would be great if you can watch it with someone who hasn’t seen the show before. Spread the word. E-mail other Journeyman fans. Post it on MySpace, Facebook, Yahoo or any other place there are Journeyman groups.

Lots of Great News Today - There will be a new Podcast featuring Kevin Falls  this weekend: Slice of SciFi has had an ongoing Journeyman campaign. This weekend, they’ll be airing an interview with Kevin Falls. Falls will be talking about the Save Journeyman campaign and more. Also, look for lots more great content on the podcast including Jericho, Superman and Benicio Del Toro News. Full info about the podcast in our podcast announcement on our forums and on sliceofsci.

Streaming Event Update: Lots of new people joined us for the streaming event on Monday. Let’s make next week’s even bigger. One poster, joeyday, scheduled a Facebook event and invited all her friends. Get creative with promoting the streaming. Two things you can do this week to increase the impact of streaming is to let the executives and the advertisers know you’ve been streaming. One advertiser of note was Toyota. Journeyman fans rock the Nielsen’s site: Some great news on the Hey! Nielsen front: Journeyman has moved into the number two spot thanks to the efforts of lots of Journeyman fans. Special thanks to DCR3000 who alerted us to this site, and to Kevin, Jennifer, Redsled, Bleu and so many others who’ve been encouraging people to join and post on the site. It will take continued effort to keep the show near top. One thing to know is that comments on each opinion increase the rankings more than just reactions alone. Also, visit the other sites associated with Nielsen, such as BlogPulse. If you have a blog with a Journeyman mention, register it over at BlogPulse.

As many of you have probably noticed, our forums have been having problems with account registration.  These problems have been fixed. If you attempted to register an account before but received an error, it probably still worked. You just need to activate your account. You can use this link to have the activation e-mail sent again. There has been a lot of discussion going on in our comments, so we decided to set up some discussion forums to make it easier. It will also be a great place for us to discuss the campaigns and the show itself. If you have signed up for an account on the blog, you already have an account on the forums. Just use the same username and password. From no on, registration will only be available through the forums. Any accounts created there will also be created on the blog to help make commenting easier.

Since we are just getting started, you’ll find that some things are works-in-progress.  Bear with us, or better yet, stop by and help us out!

Campaign news: A nice side-effect of our campaign to save Journeyman is that it is helping out a great cause! NBC is donating all the Rice-a-Roni we send to City Harvest. You can hear the thank you message City Harvest left for Journeyman fans and a little more about this charity on Troy’s latest podcast.

Online Buzz: Journeyman is now ranked #4 on Hey! Nielsen.

Upcoming Campaign Event: Stream Journeyman episode #2, “Friendly Skies,” on Monday (1/14) on NBC.com. By request, we’ve added a Pacific time, too. Stream at 10 PM EST and 10 PM PST. Let’s make this streaming event even bigger than last Monday’s - spread the word online.

Join Troy on the Journeyman Podcast tonight. His guest will be Shaun, who was influential in the Nuts! campaign to save Jericho. The show will be available live on TalkShoe. Just look for the “Journeyman Podcast” icon tonight around 8PM ET.

The Forbes.com Video Network has a report on our Rice-a-Roni campaign to save Journeyman. The video also includes a recap of previous fan efforts to save shows like Cagney & Lacey and Roswell. Check it out, and let them and us know what you think.
