In a follow-up to the “blind item” posted by Michael Ausiello regarding the renewal of According to Jim, TV Guide has a photo gallery of shows readers want to be revived or retired. Journeyman is featured as a show to revive. This would be a good time to e-mail Michael and let him know that Journeyman is the “bubble show” most deserving of renewal.

TV Guide’s Michael Ausiello mentioned today in his blog that there is a shocker of a renewal around the corner:
One of the original Big Three networks is about to stun the TV industry — no, make that the entire planet — by renewing a show that many believed was well into the first stage of rigor mortis.
But, this…
But before you pop open the champagne, I should point out that only a small fraction of the Aushole community actually watches this show — and I’m not even sure they’ll be happy about this news.
…leaves me skeptical that this refers to Journeyman. I really hope I’m wrong. We’ll find out tomorrow when he reveals the show.
UPDATE: Well, the show has been revealed, and the show is… According to Jim. I don’t know which makes me more sad: That it wasn’t Journeyman, or that it was drek like According to Jim.

Once again, it’s Monday, and our streaming event has reached week 8. Stream the eighth episode of Journeyman, “Winterland,” tonight at 10 PM EST, Journeyman’s regular time-slot, at Hulu, if you have an account, or here in this post after the jump. If you can’t make it at 10 PM, then stream at another time today. Be sure to click on the ads while you stream, and post advertiser contact info in this thread so we can let the advertisers know we watched.
It’s the same plan as previous weeks. It would be great if you can watch it with someone who hasn’t seen the show before. Spread the word. E-mail other Journeyman fans. Post it on MySpace, Facebook, Yahoo or any other place there are Journeyman groups.
Apologies for today’s downtime and the lateness of this post. Enjoy the episode, and come to our forums while you watch to chat about the show in our shoutbox or to discuss the episode once you’ve watched.

The TV IV is holding its annual IVy Awards and Journeyman is among the choices for a Best Drama nomination. Head on over and vote to make sure that Journeyman gets the recognition it deserves. Vote in the other categories, also. This is a great opportunity to give recognition to some oft overlooked shows.
This would also be a good time to head over to the Journeyman page on the wiki, and beef it up. No one will have more Journeyman knowledge than the readers of this blog.

Journeyman has been nominated for two Saturn Awards, awarded by The Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films. The series has been nominated for Best Network Television Series, and Kevin McKidd has been nominated for Best Actor in a Television Series. Lost lead the television categories with 7 nominations. The Saturn Awards will be presented in a ceremony on June 24.
Congratulations to Kevin and the rest of the cast and crew of Journeyman for this great recognition.

The campaign to save Journeyman received some great press on Tuesday in the New York Daily News. We should seize this opportunity to advance the campaign. Leave a comment on the article and send the reporter an email to say thanks for the exposure and to ask for more Journeyman press. These are two quick actions that can make a huge difference. According to the Daily News site, NYDailyNews.com had 40 million pageviews and 7 million unique visitors in one month alone. That’s a lot of potential exposure if we leave some comments. This article is one of many in recent weeks that mentions our campaign in the context of other fan campaigns. Let’s see if we can get another article that focuses on Journeyman! Great job Wally and Mr_X on spotting this article
Many thanks to all the bloggers who keep spreading Journeyman fever. Here are just some of the recent Journeyman-related blog entries : Jericho Monster, Arabelle’s Alley, and Celluloid Geekazoid. There’s even one blogger who hasn’t watched Journeyman but decided to get on board for other reasons - see for yourself. Show these bloggers you appreciate their efforts by leaving some comments.
When you spot more Journeyman press and blog posts, let other fans know by posting here and in our forums. It’s going to take all of us to prove to the network that we’re not giving up!

Spoiler TV is reporting that we may see some more Season 1 episodes of Journeyman, but that Season 2 is unlikely.
Also another bit of information is that Journeyman might have a chance at a few more episodes to close of their pre-strike finale. Although there is very little chance of it ever returning next season.
The site gives itself as the source of this rumor with no other substantiation, so take this with a grain of salt.
Thanks to Ripper and John and for the tip

Well, that didn’t last long. Episodes of Journeyman are available once again on Hulu. As long as Hulu continues to offer the show, we will continue to supply the embedded video link in our weekly streaming event posts for those without Hulu accounts. We don’t know if someone made a mistake, or if our voices were heard quickly. Either way, this is good news.
Interestingly enough, the show is marked as “Television show is currently on air.” This is somewhat encouraging. Episodes are still not available on NBC.com, however the main Journeyman page is still available. This is also somewhat encouraging.
Thanks to plasmatron for the tip.

As you may gave already noticed, episodes of Journeyman are no longer available for streaming at NBC.com and Hulu. Now we have something else to add to the regular letters we’ve been sending in. Head over to our campaign page, and send a note saying you want those episodes back, and then some more on top of that. Thanks to Jackie and Abbey for the heads-up.
