Last night’s season finale or Journeyman were flat compared with previous weeks. “Perfidia” drew a 3.2/6 in total viewers and a 1.8/6 in viewers 18-49. (Source: Wikipedia) Again, this was to be expected considering the lackluster lead-in and total lack of promotion. Keep the Rice-a-Roni rolling in so we get a chance to improve that.
Also, there have been some wonderful things posted in the comments that deserve more attention. I plan to put them in a front page post later tonight.

The ratings for Journeyman fell again this week. “The Hanged Man” pulled a 3.1/5 for total viewers, down from 3.7/6, and a 1.6/4 for viewers 18-49, down from 1.8/6. This is the worst dive of the season, but it is to be expected considering that NBC has given up on promoting the show and that its lead-in, NBC’s latest reality trainwreck, Clash of the Choirs, tanked, failing to beat the two reruns that it was up against.

Here’s a roundup of info on last night’s Journeyman episode, “Home By Another Way,” from around the web.
In the overnight ratings, Journeyman was flat in total viewers relative to previous weeks with a 3.7/6 but fell to its lowest rating so far, 1.8, in viewers 18-49. That is somewhat scary, but rating lows were the norm for last night since the normal December slowdown is starting. The writers strike is only compounding that.

The ratings are finally in for the special airing of Life in Journeyman’s regular timeslot. Life’s ratings were 4.3/7 (2.5 adults 18-49) which is pretty much the same ratings that Journeyman has been getting. Hopefully this will lead NBC to decide that this is a timeslot problem and not a show problem.

It has come to our attention that most charitable organizations will not accept donations of drugs like aspirin. Since we don’t want to be massively wasteful, we think it would be prudent if we changed our symbolic item to Rice-a-Roni. We thank everyone for voting, and we’re sorry about any confusion.
Later tonight, we will be posting a “letter from the future” that can be attached to boxes of Rice-a-Roni.

Here’s the ratings according to Zap2It (thank you, gret from TVIV):
At 10 p.m., “CSI: Miami” (10.2/17) easily won the hour for CBS. “October Road,” 4.4/7, finished second in households for ABC, but NBC’s “Journeyman,” 3.8/6, grabbed a few more viewers.
So basically, we can call it good news for now since any improvement in viewership is good news. But the preemption for Life (plus the lame coming attractions for the next episode) is definitely worrying. If Life lands anything above a 3.7, we may be in real trouble.
