If it is being cancelled please let me know. I will physically delete NBC off of my television. ( I'll wait for someone to tell me that Heroes is back on in the fall. ) Journeyman is a great show. It is well written and I can sit watching it with my wife and two sons. Lots of ignorant shows out there have very bad topics and are not appropriate for families. The executives ( lower-case for a reason ) at NBC as well as other executives lead fake exsistances in a dream world. They are not in touch with reality. Their only reality is reality television, which is an example of their distance from the normal. Television in my book is heading into the crapper. When I laugh at a serious drama, yawn at a comedy, or loose brain cells at an alarming rate watching reality television I choose to turn the whole thing off. When I see a good show like Jorneyman, not only do I watch it, I tell people at work, friends, and family about it. When a show has some purpose, instead of just filling a time slot, it will work. A few more things before I go. If you haven't seen Idiocracy ( Good movie ) you might want to see it. This way you can catch a glimpse of your future television lineups. ( Ouch My Balls ) Change now before its too late. People like myself live in reality and have a good handle on things. I see shows that television puts out and usely can tell if it will last or not. If Jorneyman is cancelled its because television companies lost the grasp of what television is about. It should be about what instills in us a sense of what makes us who we are. It should give us comfort as well as open our minds. We should be able to relate to who or what we are watching. Ratings do not always lead to great shows. Example: Take a highly rated show and put it on for three hours straight once a week for three weeks. Watch how your ratings dive. Now take a show ( that your rating board or however you tally the ratings ) with lower ratings yet fits the criteria - Jorneyman - and advertise as such a show explaining it might go off the air. Put the first season on for three hours straight once a week for three weeks. Compare yours notes.( Not really ) Your notes are probably why I'm writing this. You need to get real people and ask them to compare. I still believe Good shows are out there. Just don't get rid of them before they have a chance. If you don't change the way television is heading we will have idiocracy. I'll leave with this saying. "When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade."
